Most people are languid and
reluctant to work on Monday morning. The word Monday itself can make a person
drowsy. Today we have our lab exams and I need to collect my record from Sathvi
as early as I can. I am not at all worried about my record but for my friend
Rajesh. He don’t know that I am making my junior to write my record and for
that purpose I gave his record as reference. He called me 10+ times to know
whether I kept his record in bag. Believe me or not, his phone call waked me
from sleep today.
I can see my batch guys with books in
their two hands looking into them desperately. Bus soaring to destination which
it will only do exam days. When everyone were out of bus, no surprise we can
see a gazer. It is our college A.O. He is well known as Mr. Loathsome. As I
entered into cafeteria some one dragged my back. It is Sathvika. She is
stupefying in a red and green combination salwar kameez. I thanked her and
moved to my examination hall in hurry. As I reached hubbub welcomed me. With a
great difficulty I have completed my exam.
In the evening, Sathvika came along
with me and Nancy. She is very conservative in her style of dressing. Her ear
rings were trendy and very impressive. I didn’t talk much to Sathvi when Nancy
is with us. As Nancy left us on our way, Sathvi initiated
‘Impressed with my work?’
‘Impressed? For what’
‘ Sir, I am saying about my work for
your record!’
‘Oh..you are asking about that? Yea
you did well and I said you not to call me sir!!’
‘Ooops…sorry..yes I do remember..’
‘It’s ok. Are you living here from
childhood? I never seen you before. My house is very close to yours and I had
gone through this way many times. I guess you don’t come out of home often.’
‘No. Nothing like that. My father
works for IOC. So he will get transfers regularly and we almost travelled from
north to south. Dad resolved to make hyderabad home town and now we are living
here in an apartment from the past three years.’
It was just a 5minute walk and we both
stood before Sathvi’s apartment. She waved her hands to say bye. When I stepped
into my home, my mom said a gale gonna hit our home. They are my relatives
coming all the way from banglore. They are really a nugging kind of
personalities and no way I can bear them. I decided to stay away from them as
much as I can so that I won’t be their victim.
I enquired my mom about their arrival
and departure dates and times so that I can rescue my self from them. My mom
said they are on the train now and will reach home by tomorrow. With grunting
sounds my cpu slowly started and I opened my different social networking site
accounts and surprised to see Sathvi’s request and message on facebook. I
accepted her and the very next second I have seen Sathvi’s next message.
‘Hi..watsup ’
‘Hey you are on facebook?! Wow..’ I
dazzled.
‘What do you mean? Ha…Do you think
juniors shouldn’t have a facebook account!’
While I am giving reply to that I have
got another message
‘Do you know karthik?’
‘Y..what happened?’
‘I will say you tomorrow..My mom
calling me.It’s her time. She plays stupid farmville on facebook.’
‘GOSH.. Your mom is on fb?!!!!’
‘Hahahaah… All my family members were
on fb.. I will message you when I am online..k.’
‘K..That’s fine..But where do u
message me? on FB or MOBILE?’
My ruse to get her number worked. She
gave her number and asked me to send a blank message. I gave her a blanc
message after a hour. Presence of the relatives made me to keep myself away
from home. I only went to home in the morning to take shower which I do
silently so that they don’t notice me. In this way I escaped from relative
GALE.
